_It’s never too early to start investing in yourself and saving up! This week, try these tips to help you save money and use that left over cash to add to your investing portfolio or to have in your savings account. _

Take advantage of the student discounts on M Street

M Street has a ton of awesome stores and most of those stores offer awesome student discounts. Be sure to check out JCrew and Club Monaco and have your student ID ready! 

Eat at Leo’s

While it can be nice to have a meal outside of the cafeteria every once and a while, Leo’s meals are fully included on your meal plan. Since they are prepaid, it’s a great way to save money and socialize! 

Walk

Instead of spending money on an uber or a cab, take in the early fall air and walk! Georgetown is a beautiful city and you get in exercise without having to see anyone you know in Yates!  

Einstein’s Coffee > Starbucks

Not only does Einstein’s offer great bagels and sandwiches for a meal swipe, but they also have delicious iced coffee. Instead of spending money at Starbucks or Saxby’s you can save by using  a meal swipe for your morning caffeine fix!
