What are your hobbies?
I’m involved with my school’s intramural sports program, and I work as a referee to the sports that go on year round. I’m a big fan of basketball, baseball, and football. I'm also interested in science fiction and fantasy works of literature as well. After I graduate, I plan on going on to law school to study constitutional law.
What do you love most about UCLA?
I think what makes UCLA special is that it is an exceptionally excellent public university, and I’ve gotten to meet incredibly intelligent people from all walks of life. Some of my best memories on campus have come from the times I’ve spent with my roommates. One of my roommates was an international student from Dubai, and another was an international student from India. UCLA is a huge school with over 40,000 total students enrolled, so you'll be sure to make some cool friends here!
Any advice for high school students?
The thing I wish I knew before applying for financial aid was mainly how to look for merit scholarships offered by my school as well as funding for study abroad programs that really help to expand my view of the world. You'll never know what opportunities are out there if you don't search for them!
